At the tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula, amongst the quaint fishing village of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Abelardo Rodriguez, son of a former president of Mexico, created the Hacienda Hotel in 1956 that was later acquired by the legendary William "Bud" Parr. Entering the picture is visionary Donald M. Koll, owner of a real estate development entity located in Newport Beach, California known as The Koll Company, who plans to transform the site into an up-scale residential development catering to a select few.

The 24 acre site is scheduled to house 250 residential units comprised of either detached single-family residences or two and three bedroom condominiums situated in four-story buildings with underground parking structures. Amenities will include swimming pools and a membership beach club with an up-scale restaurant and bar.

Mr. Koll has retained Real Estate Development Services to help negotiate the actual purchase of the site, creation of the closing documents, and involvement in the creation of a preliminary development proforma, as well as, obtaining the land use authorizations, environmental study authorization, solicitation and procurement of the federal maritime zone concessions and off-site utilities, creation of a condominium regime, and to act as the official liaison between the ownership entity and the three levels of government in Mexico.
